Abstract: This study investigates the impact of change management on project success, aiming to: 1) identify effective change management strategies, 2) evaluate the impact of change management on project outcomes, and 3) recommend best practices for managing change in projects. A survey design was utilized to collect data from project managers and team members. Using Taro Yamane's formula, a sample size of 365 respondents was determined, ensuring a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The study was conducted in the finance sector in Lagos, where change management is essential due to frequent regulatory and market changes. The reliability coefficient score of the survey instrument was 0.89, indicating high reliability. Findings indicated that proactive and structured change management, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and training, significantly enhances project success. Recommendations include adopting a formal change management framework, providing ongoing training on change management, and ensuring continuous communication throughout the change process.
